August 21 – Dackel
“Dackel” is a singer / songwriter duo. Walter Miller on guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and vocals; Phil Hatchett on vocals and guitar. Dackel plays Rockin’ Americana Blues after our major musical influences. “Dackel” (cute name for dachshund on German) was chosen in tribute to one of first songs written by Walter. The band has performed live on WCOM and WHUP radio stations, and at festivals and venues in the Triangle and surrounding areas. Dackel has played a mix of songs written by the band members and a variety of cover songs for the past six years at Sacred Grounds.”Come and enjoy! Doors open at 6:30 pm; concert starts at 7:30 pm! All music, coffee and desserts are by donation. All are welcome!
