Don Smith is one of our longest-running performers, having first appeared at Sacred Grounds in the spring of 2000. Over the years, he’s done a number of different themed shows: train songs, music of The Carter Family, and songs with a color in the title amongst others. Tonight’s show is what he’s calling simply “Favorites” … those tunes that he finds himself singing when there’s nobody else around to hear them. Whether he’s behind the steering wheel, on the treadmill, or in the shower, these are the tunes that keep coming back to him over and over again. The playlist will include traditional, folk, country, bluegrass, pop, and even some rock-and-roll. We hope you’ll make it out for what promises to be an interesting and fun night of music.
