Jim States “I’m a singer/songwriter, originally from Central New York. I started playing guitar at 16 and played in a few small time rock bands. I attended the Recording Workshop in the Summer of 1984, and met some great people there and achieved my Audio Engineer Certificate. I play guitar, mandolin and bass, as well as some brass instruments. I currently share my time between 3 Bluegrass/Americana bands (String Beings, Gnarly Blue and Flatbed).”
