String Beings is a trio from Durham, NC who plays originals and standards in Americana, Roots, Country and Bluegrass genres. Comprised of Jim Prichard on mandolin, guitar, and vocals, Glen Stewart on guitar and vocals plus Jan Pulley on the bass fiddle and vocals, their vocal flair is delivered through a collection of original pieces, heartfelt ballads, gospel inspiration, country classics, with some folk and traditional standards sprinkled in. Their first visit to Sacred Grounds led to many requests to bring them back – we did so please come and enjoy their music.
