Conceived in 2015, Gnarly Blue is Carl Badger's Old Time music project centered around old songs from the hills of old Virginia to the cliffs of Moher in Ireland. Carl’s facility and versatility on instruments shows in his guitar, clawhammer banjo, and fiddle playing, while Jim Prichard switches back and forth with ease on mandolin, guitar, and penny whistle, and Jan Pulley round out the trio on bass fiddle. All three write songs worthy of a listen both in tune and story. Take a ride on the roots music caravan and see where the old time music takes you.
