Oct. 19 – Tokyo Rosenthal plus Ace and T-Bone
“Rosenthal can draw you into his lyrics much the same way that James Taylor and Don Henley can”. “Take Jackson Browne’s personal confessions and wrap them in Kris Kristofferson’s world weary tales of broken relationships and you have an idea of what to expect from Tokyo Rosenthal.” “This is Americana with real teeth in the lyrics”. This and more is what the critics are saying about Tokyo Rosenthal. Tokyo has opened for America, Stephen Still and other recording stars plus toured the US, Canada, Europe, Japan, Scotland, Netherlands , etc. and will just have returned from another round of singing dates in Scotland just prior to this concert. To save room listing his accomplishments, please go to tokyorosenthal.com and see for yourself. This should be an interesting night of music you don’t want to miss.
Ace & T-Bone are an acoustic duo consisting of Peter Laiosa (guitar, harp and vocals) and Trey Marchant ( bass and vocals). Much of their work is original in the Americana genre with influences from the Jazz, Folk and Blues traditions. They have been playing at festivals, radio shows and venues throughout the state for close to 10 years. They are seasoned players and songwriters with potent lyrics, lots of energy and are just plain fun to hear.
