April 1 – Mike Poole and Robert Fisher
Mike is another of our multi-talented regulars and has been a regular here for many years – he has the best repertoire of old country favorites that we’ve had on our stage and he’s also an accomplished Southern Gospel singer. Mike has also added 50s/60s songs (great fun for us older guys) and he often mixes genres – with his rapid-fire banter and funny stories and jokes he always entertains.
Robert Fisher, known as “Robert Shades Fisher” on Reverb Nation is a newcomer to this venue. having been lead vocalist in a few local Rock bands and now singing Gospel in church, he is a talented vocalist and songwriter. originally from Durham, graduated from Southern High Class of 72. he works at Duke Medical Center as an Electronic Tech. he and Mike Poole went to same high school.
