Lisa writes “Growing up in a country Baptist church right here in Durham, I began singing at the age of 5. Since that age, its been the songs of the church and the music of southern Gospel that have inspired me to sing. That very music has kept me in God’s Grace during the darkest times. Join me and a host of my friends on June 4th for a night of southern gospel music, hand clapping, foot stomping and a whole lot of praising Jesus. Lisa is delighted to share her tight southern style harmony to everyone who longs for and enjoys the old style of southern gospel singing. You will enjoy the old songs maybe long forgotten along with the newer ones you hear today on the radio. From your favorites from Gaither Homecoming to the country flavor of Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts. She may even slip in an old one from the Everly Brothers. Her ability to switch parts from one song to the next will never leave you wanting less. Come on out, relax, and have a great time singing along with Lisa to your old time favorite Gospel songs of the past.
