June 7 – Block Party featuring Broken Rooster
Our Sacred Grounds Block Party will be help from 4:00 until 7:00 and will feature music from Broken Rooster. There will be hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks and desserts – there will be no charge for the food or concerts but donations will be appreciated. There will be games for kids, motorcycles from the Christian Motorcyclists Assoc. and Big Island Shaved Ice.
“Broken Rooster” is comprised of Neil Allen (Guitar/vocals), Justin Myers (bass guitar), Scott Bono (drums) and Kent Dixon (vocals/guitar). You may recognize all but Scott from the “ Gone Fishing” or “Audio Revival” groups. Broken Rooster is a band that gives tribute to classic rock hits of the 70’s from artists such as; Tom Petty, Neil Young, The Eagles, CCR, Eric Clapton, Dobie Gray, Bob Seger, Jim Croce and Lynyrd Skynyrd to mention a few. Come out and hear Broken Rooster play the classics that have stood the test of time.
