Walter Miller

Walter began his music career in 2008 and formed the duo “Dackel” (a German nickname for a dachshund).  Miller served as lead singer and main songwriter for the duo who performed at small venues and festivals in the Triangle area.  In 2016 Walter moved to Oxford, NC and has since performed at the Tobacco Wood Brewing Company, The Oxford Farmer’s Market, Littlejohn Farmer’s Market, downtown Oxford Holiday Open House, The North Carolina Hot Sauce Festival, Festivals in Durham; Wake Forest; Pittsboro; and Winston Salem, and a songwriter’s showcase in Fuquay Varina.  Walter performs a mix of his original music as well as cover songs inspired by many genres (including Rock, Americana, and Blues).  His duo, “Dackel”, recorded CD’s  in 2012 and 2018.
