Don Smith returns to our stage tonight with another one of his themed shows. This one is called — with apologies to the late Jim Henson and Kermit the Frog — The Rainbow Connection … because every song he’ll be performing has a color in the title. No, you’re not going to hear Santana’s “Black Magic Woman”, Prince’s “Purple Rain”, or The Who’s “Behind Blue Eyes”. What you ARE going to hear is the sort of traditional folk and country music that you’ve grown accustomed to hearing from Don over the many years he’s been performing here … with just a dash of pop thrown in for good measure.
